We want you to know that when you give to our ministry it truly makes a difference in women’s lives. Thanks to your generosity, Cans for Hope is sponsoring a girl at Mercy Ministries. Since 1983, Mercy Ministries’ free-of-charge, voluntary Christian residential program has served a diverse population of young women from various socio-economic backgrounds, ages 13-28, who face a combination of life-controlling issues such as eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, depression and unplanned pregnancy. Mercy also serves young women who have been physically and sexually abused, including victims of sex trafficking. Mercy Ministries of America has residential homes in Monroe, LA; Nashville, TN; St. Louis, MO; and Lincoln, CA. Mercy Ministries exists to provide opportunities for young women to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness and life-transforming power.
When you sponsor a girl, in addition to your monthly gift of $175.00, you agree to pray specifically for a Mercy girl, by name. Some of these girls do not have the support of family or friends outside of the homes, therefore, these prayers are greatly needed. In addition, you will receive quarterly email updates with testimonies from recent graduates. For more information about the Sponsor a Girl program, click here.
Thank you again for your prayers and support. By sponsoring a girl at Mercy Ministries, we are truly recycling lives!
